Only in Hollywood- We were at the saddle ranch in universal and mickey park from the boy band together does karaoke.  Then we see Journey, an 80's rock band perform jon bon jovi's living on a prayer and then they perform their own song.  They made fans out of me.  I also saw one of my old classmates which makes me wonder what everyone is up to now.  Summer is kind of boring so I'm just always looking to do something.  Laser tagging is fun and Cold Stone ice cream is so good.  If I don't get an A in the ONLY class I'm taking right now I'm gonna shoot myself.

So today Janelle, Nate and I are walking to campus from covel.  We see a girl coming down on a skateboard.  She's going really fast down the hill.  There are cars that are stopped in front of her.  She tries to stop by getting off the skateboard.  Her momentum kept her going and she stumbled for a bit and fell.  She fell hard; she most likely scraped her arms which she landed on.  Then she kind of rolled over.  The three of us had a collective Oooh!  She was hurt.  I think she was crying in pain on the sidewalk after and someone went to check up on her and bring her back the skateboard.

I've been meaning to write about SPACE's 3-day conference.  Well, I was proud to say that our workgroup and more importantly our staff and students were able to pull through for an awesome conference.  Those 3 days it felt like I was in Disneyland or something.  It was like school didn't exist and you were just happy to be where you were.  On the last day several students and staff gave their testimonials of what SPACE has meant to them.  After that I was really happy that I'm coming back next year.  It was inspiring to hear from both students and staff.  Conference was the culmination of what SPACE has been working for.  The only thing that is unfortunate is that my position as Sites Coordinator won't let me be a P.A.  To make up for it, I get to tutor at all three sites and I'll get to know students from all three sites.  This leads into the possibility that I'll do SPACE my fourth year so I can get the full experience and peer advise.

In other news, I received my second chem midterm back.  That was bad.  The average in the class was a 39 out of 100.  THE LOW WAS A -1.  Imagine getting a negative score on a test.  That person would have been better off not showing up for the test.  I didn't do too hot but at least i have my first midterm to balance it off.  That's the only class I'm really worrying about.

The school year is almost done.  I've learned a lot over the past year.  Thank you Zetas and SPACE for being my family away from home.  Hopefully the fun and the learning keeps on coming.  I can't wait to start a new school year again.

I can't wait for the summer.  I get to play video games again!

COCKROACHES, RATS, and PILIPINOS
For those expecting a comparison on how the Pilipino race if often copared to rats and cockroaches-sorry to dissapoint.
My co-workers found like 30 cockroaches under some black tray this morning.  They didn't know what to do, so I guess they're still there.
When I was coming out from De Neve today I heard some one say it's hotter than two rats screwing a wool sock.  Wow!  That's original, but I guess he likes to use it.
I had a conversation with Mara and she asked me what I'm gonna be doing next year.  After it I realized that next year I'm going to be involved in SPACE (I got Site coordinator by the way!), Zeta Phi Rho, and PIE (Academic Chair).  Do you know what this means.  I'll be working with like around 60 Pilipinos, one Vietnemese guy, and one Chinese girl.  There's diversity for you.  So now I'm really looking into USAC since I would like to work with people who I am not accustomed to working with.

PCN was awesome!!!!!  I seriously didn't think that we could pull that shit off.  It was amazing that two weeks before PCN we weren't where we were last year.  I still can't believe that it's over.  To the trad suite, I was watching all the dances from the wings hoping everything went alright.  For the most part everything went according to plan, except Makatod (which will live infamously on DVD lol).  I was proud of how the suite went in general facing the fact that we were rushing to finish costumes and that this was for most of you, your first PCN experience.  I hope that everyone gained something out of this.  To Bangko, that dance was AWESOME.  We were THE dance of the first half.  I can't believe that we finished really strong.  That was our best performance yet from landing the stunts ( no one fell on double stack) to our expressions and yelling (first time we were all yelling during our performance).  We knew it from the response we got from the crowd.  When we landed the last stunt and the crowd started cheering  was the most exhilirating experience I've had for a while.  It was great to be casted with a great group of people.  Lastly, Vinta was the dance of the night.  They should do Vinta every year.  It was great just to be rowing the boat.  My family loved PCN; they thought the script was much better than last year.  Now it's time to switch back to the normal school life.  BUT FIRST IT"S TIME TO GET MESSED UP AT THE AFTERPARTY.  YELLOW CAB HERE WE COME.
